What are the boats made of?
Hull material 9mm hardwood marine ply, softwood seats are Scandinavian redwood, rubbing strips, rowlocks/mounts Iroko/Sapelli. West System epoxy for all bonding.
What are they painted/varnished with?
Hulls are coated with epoxy then marine two pack from one of the best commercial producers around (Jotun).
Are they hard to maintain?
All wooden boats require a certain level of care. no1 rule is to turn them over when they arent being used, so they dont fill up with rainwater, see my instruction leaflet for details.
How much for delivery?
I deliver single boats to England and Wales, delivery price varies with exact location. Delivery to Scotland and Ireland for multiple orders only. |
